Aroma Massage

Psychotherapy
Individual therapy
The purpose of therapy is to influence the patient on both emotional and bodily level. It’s necessary for the patients to feel being part of a secure environment, where they feel warmth, understanding and get a professional treatment. The therapist needs to get into the problems, understand them and help the patient to deal with their emotions, feelings, people and situations.
The therapist shouldn’t judge, evaluate, criticize, and blame the patient. A special connection of trust needs to be established between them, synchrony, and empathy. T
he process is confidential and what happens during therapy, stays there, in that safe and secure environment.
The importance of realizing you have a problem, trying to find the reasons about it, analyzing it in depth and finding your own mechanisms to overcoming them is a key to change and may be one of the most rewarding things you have done in your life.
Group Therapy
Some cases, personality specifics and problem origins are suitable to be tackled by group therapy. If it’s the first time you go to therapy, you know you need this but are shy to share – in big groups people tend to get comfortable quickly and talk with easy, realizing that there are other people with similar issues.
Psychodrama is the main method used during group work. We get into different roles, share feelings from being in those roles, look at the people and situations from a different perspective and see things we haven’t even thought about before.
Advantages of group therapy:
* In a larger group (6-9 people) different angles of the same problem may be seen, discussed, and used to find possible solutions. This is a process where all members take part in. Everyone can express their opinion, previous experience, feelings, and emotions. The satisfaction that the group has helped someone is shared by all participants.
* The keywords here are “expressing an opinion”, “sharing previous similar experience”. No one is there to judge you or criticize you for the choices you have made.
* Working in a group you learn to resolve conflicts in a peaceful, at the same time – productive manner. Everyone’s opinion is valued, critics and attacks are forbidden. The place is both secure, and free to express your opinion.
* Learning to share with people you don’t know. You may even feel a special kind of bond with some of them. Sometimes it’s easier to share with strangers, rather than talk to friends who often judge us, the way we think and how we behave. * Confidentiality of everything said and done.
